Alan Vallega Salazar

My dad, Alan Vallega Salazar, born in 1936, was a quiet force of wisdom and creativity. He never sought the spotlight, but his presence was steady and strong. Modest in his ways, he carried intelligence effortlessly—never boastful, always thoughtful. Creativity was woven into his life, not as something flashy, but as a natural expression of who he was.

He saw potential where others might not, approached life with quiet curiosity, and found meaning in the simple act of creating. He wasn’t one for grand gestures, but his impact was lasting. He passed away in 2012, but the lessons he left behind—about humility, perseverance, and the quiet power of imagination—continue to shape me.

The Salazar Family Tree

One of my dad’s greatest passions in his later years was connecting with family members and piecing together our roots. Over the years, he dedicated countless hours to researching, gathering stories, and collecting data. His work became the foundation of the Salazar family tree—a labor of love that spans generations and captures the rich tapestry of our family history.

While we offer only a thumbnail of the breadth of his research here, it serves as a glimpse into the depth of his effort. If you are a family member and would like a full PDF copy of the family tree, please send an email request. Be sure to include how you are related to the Salazar family, as this document is available exclusively to family members.
